The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team faced off against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival St. Luke’s School on Wednesday, January 24, winning 8-4.
It was a game to watch as senior Jake Cacace, junior Niko Millhouse, and sophomores Noah Bush, Enzo Federico, Max Rickey all successfully scored goals in the net to push the Hornets to the lead. Senior Danny Vining landed a hat trick and assist as eighth-grader and goalie Landon Kaliszewski notched the game win with stopping 34 of 38 opponent shots.
Coach Tim Belcher noted that the team record is now 7-3-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the FAA.
The team returns home to Blake Rink for a match against Brunswick School on Monday, January 29, at 4:45 p.m.
