The Co-ed Varsity Swimming & Diving Team competed at the Fairchester Athletic Association Invitational on Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10.
In the Diving Invitational on Friday night, freshman Jehan Mody placed second with a score of 193.53 followed by fellow freshman Leo Dottori in third with a score of 177.30.
In the Swimming Invitational at Hopkins School on Saturday, senior Connor Jermain, juniors Anthony Ferneini and Eric Huang, and sophomore Tyler Tagliarini placed second in the 400 Yard Freestyle with a time of 3:22.45. Anthony placed second in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:01.83 and Tyler placed second in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 49.16.
The Boys’ Team finished in third place while the Girls’ Team finished in seventh place.
According to Coach Jen Lyman, the Boys’ Team group of Connor, Anthony, Eric, and Tyler holds the new school record in the 200 Freestyle Relay and Tyler also holds another new school record in the 100 Freestyle.
The team is back in action for the CISAC Tournament at the Beckerman Athletic Center Natatorium on Wednesday, February 14, at 5 p.m. with teams seeking to defend their titles.
