Dylan Millhouse 2014: Refining the Mobile Communication Experience

A customer-centric mind can describe Class of 2014 alumnus Dylan Millhouse as he works to create connections between brand partners and customers as a Client Strategy Manager at Attentive.

Attentive is a conversational marketing software platform designed to connect brands with mobile audiences through personalized text messages and email interactions.

Since assuming his role in 2021, Dylan is responsible for supporting the strategy of the brand partners through the use of data analysis and technology enablement. He specifically advises the partners on the optimization of existing text message strategies along with helping them adopt new products such as AI-driven customer support and email marketing amongst other tactics.

“After college, I took a sales job in advertising technology and found myself enjoying the client-facing aspect of the industry,” said Dylan. “I found my niche in client strategy as it combines the challenge of problem-solving and working closely with people.”

Dylan noted that working closely with the brand partners allows him to better understand their goal and work to offer and execute a strong messaging strategy with the intention of increasing their online presence and acquiring new customers.

Dylan graduated from Wesleyan University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in neuroscience. He currently lives in Warwick, R.I., with his fiancé Atalia and their two dogs, a Siberian Husky named Zuko and a German Shepard named Logan. Outside of work, Dylan said he enjoys golfing and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
