Class of 2021 alumna and Lifer Jessica Stanley will participate in the American Student Placements In Rehabilitation Engineering (ASPIRE) experiential research program at the University of Pittsburgh’s Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) this summer.
As part of the program, Jessica will work closely with esteemed mentors to delve into the intricacies of rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology. The focus will be on identifying and addressing critical challenges in mobility, communication, sensory perception, and cognition.
“I am excited to work towards improving the lives of individuals with disabilities,” said Jessica.
Jessica is a junior at the University of Maryland. She is the sister of fellow Hamden Hall Lifer and Class of 2016 alumna Kayla Stanley.
