Edward W. Angiollo, Sr., 86, of Branford passed away peacefully on June 21, at his home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Velardi Angiollo, his daughter, Maria Sanders, his son Edward Angiollo, who is the father of Hamden Hall student, Carmine Angiollo, Class of 2034, and a large extended family.
Edward worked for the former New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroads, and later the Branford Board of Education for 20 years until his retirement. Edward started and served on the board for East Haven Youth Hockey for 45 years. He was a member of the Branford Italian-American Club.
