As a serial entrepreneur with professional expertise in real estate and technological integration, specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI), Class of 2013 Seth Samowitz serves as the Chief Operating Officer at BK Real Estate Advisors.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Seth focuses on the operational and technology aspects of the business and land sales in New York City. Additionally, Seth is a development sales broker in Queens, N.Y.
Seth is the founder of Vosa AI, an AI startup transforming the real estate industry with the aim of automating real estate prospecting, specifically the automation of calls, texts, and emails, to amplify broker-client interactions.
“Real estate is all about relationships and data,” said Seth. “We are moving from a 1:1 to a 1:many relationship as AI can now allow brokers to talk to multiple clients at once. AI can also enhance the way brokers look at data and make better projections.”
Seth’s interest in real estate has always been prominent as his family has roots in the industry. He received his real estate license during his second semester senior year of high school as he noted that he knew he had an opportunity to make a major change in the industry. Aside from his real estate knowledge, Seth has a deep passion for AI as an innovative application for operational practices and enhanced efficiency within the industry.
“I believe that the power of AI has the ability to streamline workflows and analyze extensive data sets that allows real estate professionals to make well-informed decisions and maximize property sales,” said Seth.
Prior to his current position at BK Real Estate Advisors, Seth worked at TheGuarantors, where he led new product launches and partnerships, notably in renters' insurance with landlord compliance. Additionally, he spent five years in Silicon Valley working in the driverless vehicle sector leading delivery robot initiatives at Phantom Auto.
Seth graduated from Syracuse University in 2017 with a dual degree in finance and information management and technology. Following graduation, Seth launched the first two expansion markets for Good Uncle, one of the first ghost kitchen startups. The startup was later acquired by Aramark.
Outside of work, Seth and his wife Cory live in New York City. Seth said he enjoys going on runs, watching the New York Yankees, and hanging out with his wife and their 3-year-old dog, a Sheltie named Judge.
