PreSchool/PreKindergarten teacher Molly Meka wed Philip Adejumo on Saturday, July 20, at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, N.Y.
The couple welcomed guests at 500 Pearl also in Buffalo for the reception. Current Hamden Hall PreSchool/PreKindergarten associate teachers Arielle St. Arnault and Angelica Demers were in attendance.
Philip proposed to Molly at Hammonasset Beach in Madison in September 2022 with a surprise visit from both of their families at Gouveia Vineyards. The couple met while attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where they were teammates on the swim team. Molly noted that she and Philip were always friends, but did not begin dating until senior year.
Following graduation, they began a long-distance relationship for three years until Philip moved to New Haven to begin graduate school at Yale University. After a year, Molly moved from Buffalo to Connecticut to join Philip and she began her teaching career at Hamden Hall. The couple currently reside in Hamden.
