The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed the Williams School for an afternoon game on Friday, September 20, winning 6-0.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, senior Cristiano Fernandes netted two goals for the Hornets as sophomores Anton Cruz and Leo Dottori both scored one goal each respectively. Seniors Josh Aversa and Ayden Apotrias, junior Alex Romero, and sophomore Yavuz Nugay all led the team on the defensive side as sophomore and goalie Theo Baron protected the team to secure the shut-out win.
“It was a great all-around team win,” said Coach Michael Moore. “We moved the ball nicely and it was fun to watch. “
The team stays home at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for a game against Emmanuel Christian Academy on Tuesday, September 24, at 4:15 p.m.
