The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed Christian Heritage School for an afternoon game on Friday, October 25, winning 5-2.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, sophomore Anton Cruz scored four goals for the Hornets with assistance from sophomore Leo Dottori and eighth-grader Lucas Maciel. Senior Ayden Apotrias scored one goal with assistance from Anton.
“The team played very well, moving the ball around creating many combination plays,” said Coach Michael Moore. “Our Hornets have surpassed the last two seasons earning seven wins with two games to go and I could not be more proud."
The team returns to the field for a home game against St. Luke’s School on Monday, October 28, at 4 p.m.
