The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team welcomed the Gunnery for an afternoon match on Wednesday, April 10, winning 15-5.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, senior Lily Schoonmaker led the Hornets with seven goals while eighth-grader Kaja Millhouse was close behind with four goals and one assist. Senior Gianna Dellacroce, sophomore Anya Carter, and freshmen Alex Tombaugh and Lily Maher all scored one goal each. Eighth-grader and goalie Scottie Beck notched the victory with 11 saves in the net.
Coach Emily Anderson noted she is proud to see the continued commitment and hard work of the team paying off in each game.
The team takes on Convent of the Sacred Heart in an away game on Friday, April 12, at 4:30 p.m.
