Record Breaking Season for Girls' Varsity Volleyball

The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team welcomed Masters School at the Beckerman Athletic Center for an afternoon game on Monday, September 23, winning 3-0. The team defended its record is now is 8-0.

Coach Gary Aurora noted that following player contribution so far this season.
 
Senior Tami Afolalu averages 18.2 killers per match; senior Summer Krajcir leads the team in digs with a 96% on serves; and senior Theodora Aslan averages 87% on serves. Junior Ilke Altindas leads on serve receive accuracy; junior Brianna Sposa has a strong serve receive rating; and junior Grace Yang averages 24 assists per match. Sophomore Zhanna Milani has strong all-around defensive stats. Freshman Shawna Aurora leads the team in blocking and freshman Anna Aslan has a strong serve receive rating. Eighth-grader Aliya Church has a 95% serve rate.
 
The team returns to the court against Greenwich Country Day School on Wednesday, September 25, at 4:30 p.m.
