The Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team welcomed Stony Brook Academy for a late morning game in celebration of Homecoming weekend on Saturday, October 19, winning 3-1.
Taking the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex, sophomore Anton Cruz scored the first goal for the Hornets with assistance from sophomore Leo Dottori. Anton came in strong again as he scored the second goal with assistance from sophomore Yavuz Nugay, and freshman Trin Sukduang scored the third and final goal. Sophomore Theo Barron made big saves in the net to secure the game win.
“Our Hamden Hall Hornets continue to impress, putting on a show with a great win,” said Coach Michael Moore. “This was another excellent team effort and our best game of the season thus far.”
The team returns to the field for a home game against Christian Heritage Academy on Friday, October 25, at 4:15 p.m.
