Jodi Amatulli

Dear Friends,

Hamden Hall Country Day School is pleased to announce that Maryanne Lincoln Hall, Class of 1954, is sponsoring a partial four-year scholarship for an Upper School student. Maryanne spent her entire career teaching elementary school in Bethany, Conn. Additionally, she supervised student teachers that were earning degrees from the University of New Haven. Maryanne holds degrees from Connecticut College for Women, Southern Connecticut College, Southern Connecticut State University, and Wesleyan University. Maryanne started in sixth grade at Hamden Hall, attending on a scholarship for which she is most grateful. She noted that her years under the pines provided inspiration for her pursuit of education that remained a mainstay throughout her life. Maryanne’s gift to Hamden Hall will offer financial support to a student who demonstrates academic achievement and is involved in the life of the school. “Supporting Hamden Hall’s scholarship program is a way for me to acknowledge the wonderful teachers and programs at the school that changed my life,” Maryanne said. We thank Maryanne for her generosity to Hamden Hall, and we invite others who are interested in supporting our scholarship program to please be in touch!
